Article 50-2 (Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Email Addresses)

​1.No person shall collect email addresses from an Internet website using automated programs or any other technical means without the prior consent of the website operator and/or administrator.

2.No person shall sell or distribute email addresses collected in violation of Paragraph 

3.No person who is aware that email addresses have been collected, sold, or distributed in violation of Paragraphs 1 and 2 shall use such email addresses for the transmission of information.

Article 74 (Penalties)

Any person who collects, sells, distributes, or uses email addresses for the transmission of information in violation of Article 50-2 shall be subject to imprisonment for up to one (1) year or a fine of up to KRW 10,000,000 under applicable law.
